ff 87. Unpublished typescript study of the past, present and future planning possibilities of the Lancashire town of Clitheroe, complete with geological coloured maps, silver gelatin and half tone photographs, engravings of the local landmarks, several large format silver gelatin images including 'The Castle as seen from the Bowling Green' and 'Looking Down Castle Street Towards Church Brown from the Keep'. On the title page it is noted that Robert Clouth, already a member of RIBA had it 'Submitted for the Diploma in Town and Country Planning at the Leeds School of Architecture' in June 1948. A most interesting document held in a spring binder. Clough published several studies of Yorkshire architecture including a work on the lead smelting mills of the Yorkshire dales. He lived in Keighley - some of his papers are held by the Local Studies section of the town library.
