pp 128 Attractively produced, folio size, guide to the up-market architecture of F Glynn Gilling. Buff coloured boards, browning to edges, near presentation inscription to first blank: 'With my best wishes for 1952 from Tempe'. Printed on coated paper, illustrated throughout with half-tone photographs. English born F. Glynn Gilling arrived in Sydney in 1919. Gilling is regarded as one of the most effective architects of luxury housing in the Eastern Suburbs and the Upper North Shore of Sydney, and to some extent the Northern Beaches and Southern Highlands. Gilling also designed the Cahors - the apartment building on Macleay St, Potts Point in 1940. An uncommon title.
