vi, pp 42 A 'Fairbairnism for every day of the year' in the publisher's decorative green paper covered boards with blue lettering and oars. Internally very good, lightly annotated in pencil by a rower who has attempted to follow some of Fairbairn's dicta. Neat ownership inscription of 'J L Harly' on the first blank. A very good copy of an uncommon book. Steve Fairbairn is credited with revolutionising rowing technique in Britain in the early twentieth century through his pioneering work at Jesus College Cambridge and through publications like this.
